　　Brian D. Perkins is Corporate Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Johnson & Johnson. Appointed to this position in July 2004, Mr. Perkins’ primary role is to protect and build Johnson & Johnson’s corporate equity. This includes management of Johnson & Johnson’s approximate $2 billion of media, and its philanthropic efforts. Mr. Perkins also chairs Project Pathways, which coordinates Johnson & Johnson’s corporate-wide approach to HIV/AIDS.

　　Mr. Perkins began his Johnson & Johnson career in 1980 as an assistant product director with McNeil Consumer Products, then a small but fast-growing over-the-counter drug company. He had the incredible good fortune to have been Product Director on the TYLENOL Brand during the 1982 and 1986 tampering incidents. It was at this early stage in his career that he saw the principles of the Johnson & Johnson Credo hard at work. After taking on increased responsibilities at McNeil as Vice-President of Marketing, Mr. Perkins was appointed President of Personal Products North America in 1993. In 1994, he was appointed President of McNeil Consumer, by that time the world’s largest OTC drug company.

　　In 1999, Mr. Perkins was made Company Group Chairman for the worldwide OTC business, including the Johnson & Johnson Merck joint venture. Later in 1999, he was appointed to Johnson & Johnson’s Executive Committee as Worldwide Chairman of Consumer Pharmaceuticals & Nutritionals. Mr. Perkins helped establish nutritionals as a new growth platform for Johnson & Johnson through the establishment of the McNeil Nutritionals Company – a fast-growing organization that has had success behind such brands as SPLENDA No-Calorie Sweetener and VIACTIV Calcium Supplements. He also helped expand McNeil Consumer in the specialty pharmaceutical business in the U.S.

　　Mr. Perkins, a graduate of Rutgers College, also holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is active at Rutgers as an Executive Committee member of the Rutgers University Foundation, Chairman of Rutgers “Scarlet R” and a former member of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Perkins is also a Board member of the New Jersey Poison Information & Education System.

　　Mr. Perkins resides in Princeton, NJ with his wife, Lois and their two children, D.J. and Michael.
